Actor Colin Farrell has been admitted to a treatment centre for exhaustion and an addiction to prescription drugs, his spokeswoman said today.

Publicist Danica Smith said in a statement that Farrell (29) the star of Alexanderand Phone Booth, had completed filming his new movie Miami Vicebut declined to provide any other details.
"We ask that the press respect the privacy of Mr Farrell and his family," she said.
The medication was prescribed to the actor after a back injury, she said.
"No other comments to be made at this time," the statement added.
