GAA:Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has made just one change to his starting line-up for Sunday's All-Ireland final against Tipperary, drafting the veteran marksman Eddie Brennan into his half forward line.

Colin Fennelly is included a matter of weeks after tearing a hamstring but although there are concerns his brother Michael is struggling with a similar injury both are named on the team sheet.

Tipperary named an unchanged side earlier in the week, with manager Declan Ryan and his selectors keeping Brendan Maher in reserve. Maher broke his ankle during the national league and had not recovered sufficiently to start any of the county’s championship matches to date.

But his appearance as a replacement in both the Munster final against Waterford and the All-Ireland semi-final win over Dublin had created the assumption that he would be a strong contender to start the final.

TIPPERARY:B Cummins; P Stapleton, P Curran, M Cahill; J O'Keeffe, C O'Mahony, P Maher; G Ryan, S McGrath; S Callanan, N McGrath, P Maher; E Kelly, J O'Brien, L Corbett.
