President Clinton and the British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, plan to hold a public event on Sunday intended to strengthen support for the Northern Ireland peace deal, a US official said this morning.
White House spokesman Mr Mike McCurry gave little detail about the event, but said it would help build public support for the Belfast Agreement.
