A major clean-up is underway at a secondary school in north Dublin which was forced to close today following a sewage leak.
Pupils at St Fintan's High School in Sutton were sent home after a sewage pipe burst in the grounds.
The school sent its 560 pupils home shortly after 2pm.
The leak is understood to have occured where an old sewer was diverted into a new pumping station which was opened by the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, earlier this week.
