Karachi - A bomb exploded in a cinema in Karachi yesterday , the eve of municipal elections, killing two people and injuring 14, Pakistani state television reported.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosion during an evening film show in Karachi's main Saddar commercial area.
The government has deployed thousands of army and paramilitary troops in Karachi to maintain peace in Pakistan's volatile commercial capital.
