HONG KONG - China has warned the Lutheran Church that 1997 would be a bad time to hold its world assembly in Hong Kong, church officials' said yesterday.
The Lutherans had scheduled their world assembly in Hong Kong for early July next year just one week after the British territory reverts to China at midnight on June 30th.
