Beijing - The death toll from tropical storm Wendy has risen to 153 in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang.
Nearly five million people were affected when heavy rains on Saturday caused flooding in the mountains and landslides near the cities of Wenzhou and Taizhou, and inundated seven counties in the coastal province.
