China's consumer price inflation in the first quarter will average 2.0-2

China's consumer price inflation in the first quarter will average 2.0-2.5 per cent in year-on-year terms, the country's central planner said today.

Consumer prices will be basically stable in March, with the inflation rate expected to dip slightly from the 2.7 percent rate registered in February, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website.
