Kathmandu - An international conference organised by UNICEF and the Nepalese government yesterday condemned the use of child soldiers and appealed for a ban on small and light arms which could be handled by children.
"Tens of thousands of children - including those of 10 years of age - are being used as cannon-fodder by armies, militias and armed groups," the conference was told.
