Moscow - The bodyguard protecting Chechnya's leading pro-Moscow civilian administrator, Mr Akhmad Kadyrov, was murdered in his home early yesterday, the republic's prosecutor's office told Interfax.
The assailants entered the bodyguard's home in the village of Bachi-Yurt, about 40 km south-east of the capital Grozny and shot him dead, an official in the prosecutor's office said.
