Overall verdict: School management was of a very high standard, the discipline system was highly organised and there was a wide range of subject choice. Equity and diversity were displayed in framing the curriculum.

Main strengths of school

An "open-door policy" to parents facilitates interaction between home and school. The school has devised its own "On Track" and "Star" programmes which provide supports for students who are at risk of leaving.

Any weaknesses identified?

It is recommended that the timetabling provision be reviewed by the school and that any review should take cognisance of the Time in School Directive (Circular M29/95) which stipulates that 28 hours is the minimum number of instruction hours per week.

The school does not have a library, although English teachers have collected a wide range of reading materials for use by their classes.
