Venice - British Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons criticised censorship of his controversial film Lolita yesterday at the Venice film festival. He made his remarks at a news conference about Chinese Box, a film by Hong Kong-born director Wayne Wang in which the actor stars as an English journalist, when reporters asked how China's film censorship affected the ability to make films. "I have a film that's being held in America - censorship is censorship," he said.
