Paul Carberry will be sidelined for three weeks after breaking his left collarbone in a fall at Navan.

The jockey sustained the injury in a tumble from Hard Shoulder at the fifth-last flight in the Ardboyne Handicap Hurdle yesterday.

"He's having x-rays but it looks like it's broken," his agent Ciaran O'Toole said today.

"Hopefully he'll be back in about three weeks. A broken collarbone doesn't usually take too long to heal."

Carberry recorded a short-priced double on Dashing Home and Regal Son in races preceding his fall.
