The PSNI is investigating a pipe bomb attack in Strabane, Co Tyrone, early this morning.
According to the PSNI, the incident, which was reported at 12.30am, saw a number of masked men break the window of a Volkswagen Bora car in the Ballycolman area of Strabane and place the device in the car. This later detonated, causing substantial damage to the vehicle.
A number of properties in the area were evacuated during the incident, and the PSNI is appealing for witnesses.
