over unseeded Australian Evie Dominikovic in just 50 minutes.

It was the third win for the top seeded American over her 109-ranked opponent and she next meets either Switzerland's Patty Schnyder, seeded 20th, or Uzbek 14th seed Iroda Tulyaganova in the final 16.

Yugoslavia's Jelena Dokic, the number seven seed, also moved into the fourth round with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Elena Likhovtseva of Russia.

Dokic now faces either Emilie Loit of France or Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik in the final 16.
