Vatican City - Mother Teresa will not be considered for sainthood for at least five years. "I would never say Mother Teresa is not a saint, she certainly is an extraordinarily holy woman,' said Archbishop John Foley, President of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications. "But we cannot anticipate the judgement of the church. With some wisdom, the church has asked that a five-year waiting period be observed before examining the life of any person proposed for beatification and canonisation."
