London - The death of Labour MP, Mr Jamie Cann, brings the first Commons by-election of the parliament

London - The death of Labour MP, Mr Jamie Cann, brings the first Commons by-election of the parliament. Mr Cann had an 8,081 majority at the June general election. The Tories would need a 10.4 per cent swing to win the by-election. It provides the first challenge for the Tory leader, Mr Iain Duncan Smith.
