Gardaí investigating the murder of a Somali national whose dismembered body was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin last March have issued a photograph of the victim.

Farah Swaleh Noor (38) had been living in Ireland since 1996. His body was dismembered before it was dumped in the canal at Ballybough.

Three women and a man were arrested last week in relation to the death but were released without charge.

Gardaí said anyone with information should contact the incident room at Fitzgibbon Street Garda station on 1800-218 219.
