Phnom Penh - Cambodia will allow foreign judges and prosecutors to take part in the trial of the Khmer Rouge leader, Mr Ta Mok, to ensure the process meets international standards, a government official said yesterday.

The Prime Minister, Mr Hun Sen, made the comment in talks with visiting US Senator John Kerry, an adviser to Mr Hun Sen said. The new policy reverses the premier's earlier stand on the issue.
