C&C Group said at its agm that trading in the first four months of this year has been in line with its expectations.
The group also said it is confident it will meet its current guidance for 2005-06 earnings to match those of a year earlier.
The company said it is investing in growth in the Bulmers chain in Ireland, Magners in the United Kingdom, and Tullamore Dew internationally.
