Paralympics: Eilish Byrne, Ireland's sole competitor in the equestrian events at the Paralympic Games in Hong Kong, finished 11th in this morning's Grade II individual dressage championships.
Riding her chestnut Dutch Warmblood gelding Youri, Byrne was awarded 62.818 points with Germany's Britta Naepel, second of the 18 competitors to enter the arena, winning on a score of 71.909 with Cherubin 15. The Grade II riders' next competition will be the freestyle on Wednesday.
