LUXEMBOURG - Burma will not be invited to a summit of Asian and European leaders in London next year despite the decision by the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) to grant it membership next month, EU officials said.
The membership decision, made at a meeting in Kuala Lumpur, defied pressure from the EU and the US to isolate the military regime.
