London - An official British report has confirmed what many Britons already believe - that Britain has the worst transport system in Europe.
Britain has the most congested roads, the longest commuting times and among the highest bus and rail fares, according to a study by the Commission for Integrated Transport.
The study found Britain was the most car-dominated country in Europe, with 87 per cent of road journeys made by car and 12 per cent by public transport.
