The Irish Bridge Union's major and intermediate interprovincial championships will be decided over three sessions next Saturday (1.30pm) and Sunday in the Templeogue Centre, Dublin. Connaught will defend the major, and Ulster the intermediate event.
The programme for the 32nd Kenmare congress, which will take place in the Kenmare Bay Hotel next weekend, is: Friday (7.45pm), mixed pairs; Saturday (2pm), two-session major pairs; Sunday (12.30pm), teams.
Open pairs will start on Friday at 8pm, on Saturday at 2pm, and 7.45pm, and on Sunday at 2pm, and 7.30pm. Subject to entry novice pairs will be run on Saturday at 7.30pm. Major entries: Oliver Morgan (064-85636).
