Edinburgh - A 10-year-old boy in north-eastern Scotland hanged himself with his school tie after an argument with his mother, police said yesterday. The body of Derek Craib was discovered hanging from the top bunk in his bedroom by one of his two elder sisters late on Monday, police in Elgin said.
Local media said he was angered by being refused permission to stay overnight at a friend's house.
