A two-year-old boy has been killed in a crash in Co Galway.
The child, who was walking along a road at Derrybeg, near Tynagh, was killed when he was hit by a car at around 12.25 p.m.
His body was removed to Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe for a post-mortem.
Gardaí are not releasing the boy's name until all next of kin have been informed.
