A 16-year-old teenage boy was killed when the car in which he was a passenger hit a wall last night.
The incident happened shortly after 11pm on the Lyons Roads in Newcastle, Co Dublin.
The male driver of the vehicle was seriously injured in the crash and was removed to Tallaght Hospital.
Lyons Road is currently closed pending a Garda investigation.
