Zurich - Swiss authorities have asked the Russian embassy to help find any more dangerous remnants of the Cold War after police found an old KGB suitcase which contained a spy radio and which was rigged to explode.

The suitcase was discovered buried in woods on the outskirts of Berne last month. It was buried by a KGB agent some time in the 1960s, a spokesman from the federal prosecutor's office said in a statement yesterday.
