Three people have been arrested as part of ongoing Garda investigations into dissident republican group the Real IRA.
Detectives carried out searches at addresses in counties Dublin, Louth, Cork and Limerick and bomb-making equipment and a firearm were recovered.
The people being held are detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act.
