Zurich - A small pipe bomb exploded in the Swiss city of Basle early yesterday near the venue of a meeting marking the 100th anniversary of the first Zionist congress, but caused only slight damage and no injuries, authorities said.
Around 1,700 delegates are attending the event, which culminated yesterday with a ceremony marking the First Zionist Congress in August 1897.
