ATHENS - A powerful bomb explosion wrecked a car belonging to a Greek NATO officer in Athens yesterday but no one was hurt, police said.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack, which shook the residential Kypseli district. Left wing urban guerrillas in Athens have previously bombed cars belonging to diplomats and senior Greek officials.
