At least two people have been killed in a series of bombs in the southern Iranian city of Ahvaz this morning.

State televison said some people had been killed in the explosions in a bank and a government building. The Mehr news agency put the death toll at two.

The Arabic-speaking province saw intermittent ethnic unrest by Iran's Arab minority last year.
