Bank of Ireland has announced an agreement to supply retail ATM machines to 30 Fareplay stores at Statoil petrol service stations in the east of the country.
The bank said it is envisaged that a further 30 will be installed in other Fareplay stores.
"The deployment of these ATMs and the agreement with Fareplay at Statoil is part of Bank of Ireland's plan to install 500 retail ATMs in convenient locations to provide greater customer access to cash services. To date the Bank has installed 440 retail ATMs nationwide," the bank said in a statement.
Mr Ger Moffatt, head of ATM strategy with Bank of Ireland said: "We are very conscious of the increased demand for easy and convenient access to ATMs throughout the country and are pleased to respond to that demand in a meaningful and comprehensive way."
