Body recovered from River Slaney, search continues for second

The search is continuing.

A body has been found during a search for two men who fell into the River Slaney. One of the men was seen falling in last night and another is thought to have fallen in on Monday night. The body has yet to be identified.

The search is continuing.

The Boyne Fisherman's Rescue and Gardaí were alerted at around 3.30 a.m when the man, believed to be around 18, fell into the river at the Haymarket bridge.
