The body of woman has been found by rescuers searching for two swimmers missing off the Galway coast.
A rescue helicopter from Sligo is understood to have spotted the body in the water near Innisturk island a short time ago.
The search is continuing for a man who is believed to have gone swimming with the woman.
The man and the woman are believed to have entered the water near Clifden shortly before 5am this morning.
They were reported missing by visitors to the area just after 8.30am.
The Clifden and Achill lifeboats are aiding the local coastguard units in the search.
