The body of a man who went missing from a trawler was found close to Achill Island in Co Mayo early this morning.
His body was found in the nets of The Kelly Jfishing boat early this morning.
The 27-year-old man fell overboard his Killybegs-based fishing vessel at around 11 a.m. yesterday, about 40 miles west of Achill Island.
Helicopters from Shannon and Sligo and the Achill Lifeboat searched the area with no success yesterday.
The dead man has not yet been named.
