A man's body was found on the side of a road in Shercock, Co Cavan, by passing motorists this morning.
The scene where the body was found on the road between Baileborough to Shercock has been sealed off for examination by the Garda technical team.
The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, is due to examine the body later today.
