Gardaí in Dundalk are investigating the discovery of a body in a burned out car in Co Louth.
The discovery was made at around 7pm at Gyles Quay, near Lordship, a Garda spokesman confirmed.
The scene has been preserved and the State pathologist's office has been informed
Gardaí in Dundalk appealed for anyone who may have any information to contact them.
