MEXICO CITY - Police using a bulldozer have found a body at a ranch belonging to the jailed brother of the former president, Dr Carlos Salinas, amid reports of a possible breakthrough in the case of a major political assassination. However, identification of the body had not been made.
Mr Raul Salinas's lawyer said police were searching for the corpse of Manuel Munoz Rocha, a ruling party congressman missing since November, 1994. Alongside Mr Raul Salinas, Mr Rocha is an alleged accomplice in the murder a month and a half earlier of the ruling party general secretary, Jose Francisco Ruiz Massieu.
