The bodies of two young children were found in a car in Britain today.
A woman (43) has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery in Mill Close, Heathfield, East
Sussex, at 11.46am.
The woman, believed to be from Surrey but with local connections, was held after visiting Heathfield police station to report "an incident", Sussex Police said.
Police officers subsequently found the bodies of a boy and a girl, both aged under five, after forcing entry into a car.
A police spokesman said: "An investigation is now under way and the area around the scene is cordoned off."
