London - Proceedings in Britain's House of Commons were thrown into disarray yesterday when a blind Cabinet Minister's guide dog decided she could not stomach an attack on her master.

Lucy, a black labrador who is the constant companion of the Education and Employment Secretary, Mr David Blunkett, took exception to a speech by her master's Conservative opposite number, Mr David Willetts, and was violently sick all over the House carpet.
