Bishop Brendan Comiskey is expected to return to Wexford before next Wednesday. Last Tuesday priests of the Ferns diocese received a letter from him saying he would be back at work by next week, and he has promised friends that he will be back in time for Lent.
He is expected to appear in public for the first time to say Mass at a church somewhere in the Ferns diocese.
