Damien Owens was born in Monaghan in 1971 and studied English at Queen's University. He has worked as a copywriter and technical writer and now writes fiction full-time. He has contributed comic pieces to a number of magazines, including D'Side, Penthouse and (while living in Sydney) the Australian Women's Forum. He lives in Dublin. Dead Cat Bounce, published next week by Flame at £10 in UK, is his first novel.
