The Friends of the Hunt Museum in Limerick have organised what promises to be a fine day out on April 17th, when they bring together the talents of cooks and writers in a seminar entitled Entertaining at Home.
Sophie Grigson, whose new series on herb cookery is currently on BBC2, is one of the four lecturers, and will talk and demonstrate practical approaches to cooking. Wine consultant Jacinta Delahaye will talk on wines, antique dealer Roxann Moorehead will discuss The Story of the Dining Table, while floral decorator James Bailey will speak on flower arranging. The day will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and will cost £38, including lunch, coffee and wine, which is darn good value. Book early to avoid disappointment, by calling Margret McEvoy on 061 312960 or 312833.
