Swiss balloonist Bertrand Piccard and his co-pilot Brian Jones soared yesterday towards what may be the last great feat of the millennium - to be the first to circumnavigate the globe in a balloon.
With one more ocean, the Atlantic, to cross after finishing the hardest stretch, the record-setting team headed toward the Gulf of Mexico and should be near Jamaica this afternoon, support staff said.
