Two men who have been charged with the manslaughter of a Co Clare farmer, Mr Raymond Hynes (37), were yesterday remanded on continuing bail to reappear before Ennis District Court on January 26th.

Mr James Curran (21), of Church Road, Tubber, and Mr Noel Walsh (20), of Garryland, Gort, are charged with the manslaughter of Mr Hynes at Rathwilladoon, Tubber, on October 26th last.

Under the bail conditions set by the court both men have been ordered not to go within five miles of Tubber because of fears for their safety.
