Award for Irish lighting expert

An Irish-born television lighting expert has won a major award. Mr Tom Kinnane, of Thurles, Co Tipperary, won the Royal Television Society crafts and design award for lighting. His work with London Weekend Television has ranged from the World Cup to the Miss World contest.
