Guatemala City - The first phase of a new autopsy on the murdered Guatemalan bishop, Juan Gerardi, weakened the case against the only suspect in the case, a parish priest, according to preliminary findings.

The imprisoned Father Mario Orantes is alleged to have ordered his dog to attack the bishop but the examination shows he was not attacked by a dog.
