Attacks on businesses condemned

Sinn Fein has strongly criticised the attacks on two Catholic-owned businesses in Portadown, Co Armagh. Ms Dara O'Hagan claimed that the incidents on Wednesday night formed part of a concerted campaign by loyalists to intimidate the nationalist community and she urged unionist and community leaders to use their influence to bring about an end to such attacks, which were only serving to increase tension in the town.
