A Derry man was in hospital yesterday after his arms and a leg were broken in a "punishment" attack in a republican area of the city. The 19-year-old victim was confronted by a gang of up to eight masked men armed with iron bars. He also needed treatment for head injuries after the attack in a house in the city's William Street area.
